Hjem & Heritage is a sole proprietorship (Personligt ejet mindre virksomhed, PMV) registered in Denmark.
Hjem & Heritage is an independent exam-preparation resource created by a private tutor and is not officially affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to SIRI (Udlændingestyrelsen) or any Danish government authority.
Hjem & Heritage sells digital access to exam-preparation course materials for the Danish citizenship test (Indfødsretsprøven) and/or the permanent residency test (Medborgerskabsprøven), delivered online through our website. Depending on which tier you purchase, this may also include live masterclasses, a 1-on-1 screening call, and a conditional money-back guarantee.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Once your payment is confirmed, you will receive access to the course materials tied to your purchased tier, along with a confirmation email recording the date of your purchase, which tier you bought, and the exact date your access period ends (3 months for Core Access; 6 months for The Accelerator and The Protected Seat).
Under Danish and EU consumer law, when you buy from us as a private consumer at a distance (i.e. online), you normally have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of the day you buy, without giving any reason, and receive a full refund.
To use this right, you simply need to tell us clearly that you want to cancel — for example, by emailing haajra.paul@hjem-and-heritage.dk and stating that you wish to withdraw from your purchase.
Danish and EU consumer law makes a specific exception for digital content, like this course, that is delivered to you immediately online rather than shipped as a physical product. Once you have expressly asked for immediate access and acknowledged that doing so ends your right to withdraw, you lose the 14-day right described in Section 4 as soon as your access begins — even if it is still within the 14-day window.
This is why, at checkout, you are asked to confirm the following before your payment is completed:
"I expressly request that access to this digital course begin immediately, and I understand that by doing so, I lose my 14-day statutory right of withdrawal once that access has been granted."
If you do not confirm this at checkout, your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal in Section 4 still applies in full.
Your confirmation at checkout (including the date and time it was given) is recorded and kept as evidence of this agreement, alongside your payment record.
The Protected Seat tier includes a 50% money-back guarantee if you sit and do not pass your next scheduled exam sitting after enrolling in the course. This guarantee is a separate, additional promise from Hjem & Heritage — it exists on top of, and does not reduce, any statutory consumer right you may have.
To make a claim under this guarantee:
This guarantee is tied to the exam sitting that falls after your enrollment date, not to any specific calendar date, since exam schedules are set by the Danish authorities and may change.
If you book a screening call for The Protected Seat, no payment is taken until after that call and your acceptance into the program. You may cancel or reschedule a screening call at any time before it takes place, free of charge, by using the link in your booking confirmation.
Prices shown on our website, including any time-limited promotional pricing, apply only to purchases completed while that price is displayed. We may change prices, course content, or the specific modules included in each tier for future purchases at any time; this does not affect access you have already purchased.
If you have a complaint about your purchase, please contact us first at haajra.paul@hjem-and-heritage.dk so we can try to resolve it directly. If we can't resolve it between us, as a Danish consumer you can also bring a complaint to the Center for Klageløsning (Denmark's Center for Complaint Resolution), or, for cross-border purchases within the EU, via the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
These terms, and any purchase made through hjem-and-heritage.dk or its subdomains, are governed by Danish law.
